Why HUMSS

Every learners in Senior High School should select the given respective tracks in Senior High School such as Academic, Sports, Art’s & Design and Technical Vocational Livelihood. And when we talk about Academic track it entails three strands namely: ABM, HUMSS and STEM.


Each one of us should select the track that we desire because it is significant for us to have more intelligence and straight to our dream course that we actually crave to obtain before Graduating SHS. You must think clearly for you not to blame yourself in the end. Selecting a strand that you are longing for will help you in your college so think in a numerous times first.

HUMSS stands for Humanities and Social Sciences. This strand focuses on the study of human behavior and societal changes, and analysis of arts, culture, literature, and politics. It implicates political science, anthropology, linguistics, psychology, and communication.

This strand will teach you to take on the world and talk to a lot of people. This is for those who are considering taking up journalism, communication arts, liberal arts, education, and other social science-related courses in college.

If you take this strand, you could be looking forward to becoming a criminology, teacher, a psychologist, a lawyer, a writer, a social worker, or a reporter someday. This strand focuses on improving your communication skills.
